“Ooouuu” (styled as “OOOUUU”) is a song by American hip hop recording artist Young M.A. She was born on 3 April 1992, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, United States. “Ooouuu” was released on 12 May 2016 and was produced by U-Dub. On the same day she uploaded the music video for “Ooouuu” on her YouTube account. It has amassed over 29 million views since the video was posted. A official remix to “OOOUUU” features a new opening by 50 Cent. “OOOUUU” has been unofficially remixed by various rappers, including Remy Ma, French Montana, ASAP Ferg, Jadakiss, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Beanie Sigel, The Game and many more. Chart position so far are 29 on US Billboard Hot 100 chart and 8 on US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (Billboard) chart.

Now The video for “Ooouuu” has earned over 81 million views on YouTube.  She first blew up in 2014 when her “Brooklyn (Chiraq Freestyle)” which went viral, and her gritty, gun-slinging bars on “Brooklyn” scene caught the attention of countless people on the Internet. Among them was Dr. Boyce Watkins, who took her to task for celebrating gun violence and perpetuating hip hop stereotypes. But the social commentator’s public critique only generated new buzz for the relatively unknown rapper, and even Watkins couldn’t deny her talent. One of his YouTube rants ends with this condescending endorsement: “Her being a woman actually causes me to want her to succeed that much more.”
